Marjorie J. Reefer

Marjorie J. Reefer, 82, of Indiana, PA formerly of Elderton, PA passed away on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024 at St. Andrew's Village in Indiana, PA, one day before her 83rd birthday.

She was born on Nov. 1, 1941 in Plumcreek Township, PA; the daughter of Roy and Helen (Hotham) Rearick.

Marjorie was a member of Shelocta Presbyterian Church. She retired after 25 years as an administrative assistant with ARIN Intermediate Unit in Indiana, PA. Marjorie looked forward to her annual family vacations at Kitty Hawk, NC as well as Avalon, NJ.

Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband Larry Reefer whom she married on Oct. 28, 1961 and just celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary together. Marjorie will also be missed by her daughters, Kelli Paquette and husband, Keith of Indiana, Lisa Mallory and husband, Kevin of West Richland, WA, Nicole Phillipine and husband, Joe of Milton, DE; grandchildren, Ryan Mallory, Jensen Paquette, Alexander Phillipine, Ava Phillipine; great-grandchild, Easton Mallory; brothers, Robert Rearick West Bend, WI and Richard Rearick of Uniontown; a sister Vivian Boyer of Apollo, PA.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; a grandchild, Derek Mallory; and a sister, Susan Cumberledge.

The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of memorial services at 11 AM on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024 at the Clark Chapel of Bauer Funeral Home, Inc. of 238 South Main Street, Elderton, PA with Rev. Arlene Schweitzer officiating.

Interment will be in South Bend Cemetery.
