Justin Scott Brown

Justin Scott Brown, 40, of Kittanning, PA, formerly of Titusville and Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026.

He was born on Dec. 13, 1985 in Oil City, PA; the son of Lane D. Brown and Pamela S. (Sturgis) Brown.

Justin graduated from Titusville High School in 2005. He later attended the Bradford School of Business and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Perdue Global. Justin was a true entrepreneur. He wasn't just the owner and operator of BS Outfitters in Kittanning he was the brand. From screen printing and signage, to wraps, detailing, and tinting, he made it his mission to help other business owners stand out.

He was one of the original founders and served as President for over five years of Kittanning Hometown Holiday Events. With Justin's leadership, they brought people near and far together to celebrate with the festival of trees, annual holiday parade, festivities in the street, and of course, Santa Claus.

Justin loved the outdoors and enjoyed riding 4-wheelers, dirt bikes, and anything with an engine. Justin's weekends were filled with AWRCS, EROC, GNCC racing series events; he loved attending, sponsoring and cheering on the racers. When not at the races Justin enjoyed spending time at camp along the river and boating with his friends, making memories that will be cherished for years to come. He was a proud dog dad to Jarvis and Rayce, who brought him endless companionship and joy. Justin was truly one of a kind, known for his strong community presence, hardworking generous spirit, and giving heart.

His memory will be cherished by his mother, Pamela S. Brown of Kittanning; his father, Lane D. Brown and wife Kelly of Pleasantville, PA; maternal grandmother, Vivian M. Brennand of Kittanning and Hugh I. Sturgis, Jr. of Hydetown, PA; siblings, Dr. Casey Marie Deleonguerrero and husband Dr. Aaron Deleonguerrero of Flagstaff, AZ, Laney Brown and fiancé Mat Dillon of Tempe, AZ, Tyler Brown and wife Julia of Titusville, PA, and Savannah Brown of Pleasantville, PA; his adored nephew, Alexander Deleonguerrero, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends, EJ, Lexi, Josh, Alex, Merle, his extended racing family; and numerous long-time friends.

Justin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Sue Brown and his maternal step-grandfather, George Brennand.

Friends and family will gather from 3 - 7 PM on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA. Attendees are encouraged to wear pink or BS Outfitters apparel.

Funeral services will be privately held for Justin's family.
